Tinker and the Primes 2009 Event Program

National defense conditions and the mission priorities of the Department of Defense and Tinker AFB on the date(s) of the event may impact the ultimate availability of speakers. Tinker and the Primes reserves the right to substitute speakers and sessions based upon availability on the date of the event.
DAY ONE: Monday, November 16th
- 9:30 a.m. - Noon/12:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. - Registration open
- 10:15 a.m. - A Tinker AFB Perimeter Asset (bus) Tour for fifty (50 paid attendees will depart from Reed Center portico and return by approximately 12:00 p.m.
- 9:00 a.m. - noon - "Marketing to the Government and the Primes" (previously known as Contractor Matchmaking) sessions in designated second floor meeting rooms.
- Noon - 12:45 p.m. - A Box luncheon for all tour attendees (both tours), volunteers and contractors will be held at noon.
- 1:00 p.m. - A tour of the Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center (OC-ALC) for twenty-one (21) paid attendees will depart from the Reed Center portico and return by approx. 4:00 p.m.
- 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. - "Marketing to the Government and the Primes" (previously known as Contractor Matchmaking) sessions in designated second floor meeting rooms.
- 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. - Exhibitor set-up
DAY TWO: Tuesday, November 17th
- 7:30 a.m. - Conference Registration and Exhibits open
- 8:00 a.m.- 9:10 a.m. - Tinker and the Primes invites you to unlock the incentives available to government contractors doing business in Oklahoma. Open General Session in the second floor ballroom.
- Ben T. Robinson, Director of Education and Training for the Oklahoma Aerospace Institute and former head of Boeing Aerospace Operations - Oklahoma, will serve as Moderator for this session and provide an overview of the Oklahoma Aerospace Vision.
- Jonna D. Kauger Kirschner, Deputy Director and General Counsel, Oklahoma Department of Commerce; Richard Schwalbach, Quality Jobs Program Manager Oklahoma Department of Commerce, will present newly enacted incentives available to contractors doing business in Oklahoma.
- Victor Bird, Director, Oklahoma Aeronautics Commission, will present the benefits available to companies under the Oklahoma Aerospace Industry Engineer Workforce Bill and will discuss the Center for Aerospace Supplier Quality.
- A question and answer session will follow the presentations.

- 9:20 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. A panel discussion facilitated by the Tinker AFB Small Business Office on the topic of small business opportunities and sub-contracting between prime contractors and small businesses. – Open General Session in the second floor ballroom.

Mr. Estevez is the Department of Defense official charged with logistics transformation across all branches of the US military.
